All BreLou Concepts Paracord accessories are made from Type III (550) Paracord.  Paracord comes in a variety of types and colors and has almost as many common uses.  Paracord consists of a nylon casing that covers seven double strands of nylon.  When military-grade Paracord is used for parachuting, the design helps prevent the entire cord from failing because the inner strands are still effective even if the outer casing or a few of the other inner strands are damaged.
